BorgenMakes
BorgenMakes Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
This policy applies to the BorgenMakes website and online shop, including sales of small-batch 3D-printed products, and to the private BorgenMakes personal-assistant integration.
Information we collect
- Orders and support: name, email address, shipping address, products ordered, order status, and communications about purchases, shipping, returns, or support.
- Payments: payment details are processed by Stripe. BorgenMakes does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
- Website use: device, browser, approximate location, IP address, page visits, and similar technical information collected through Vercel Analytics and PostHog. These services may use cookies or comparable browser storage.
- Private assistant: with authorization, basic Google account identity, Gmail content and metadata, Google Calendar, Google Drive files used with the service, Docs, Sheets, Tasks, and Contacts.
How information is used
We use shop information to accept and fulfill orders, ship products, provide support, handle returns or refunds, prevent abuse, maintain records, and operate or improve the website. Google data is used only for user-requested personal-assistant functions such as organizing email, schedules, tasks, contacts, and documents.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared only as needed with providers that operate the service, including Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting and analytics, PostHog for product analytics, shipping carriers for delivery, and configured AI service providers or infrastructure providers for explicit assistant requests. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect customers, BorgenMakes, or others.
Storage and retention
Order and support records are retained only as reasonably needed for fulfillment, customer service, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Analytics information is retained under the settings and policies of the relevant provider. Assistant OAuth credentials are kept in encrypted or protected local storage. Google content is accessed as needed; user-requested outputs or local logs may remain on systems controlled by the authorized user until deleted.
Google API Limited Use
The assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for advertising or to train generalized AI models.
Google API Services User Data PolicySecurity
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to this small operation, including managed payment processing, protected credentials, access controls, and revocable OAuth authorization. No online or local system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information by contacting hello@borgenmakes.com. Some records may need to be retained for completed orders or legal obligations. Google access can be revoked at any time through Google Account permissions.
Changes
This policy may be updated as BorgenMakes, the shop, or the assistant changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
